About

You’re living life — working, resting, moving forward — and yet your mind’s still racing. Overthinking the past, stressing about the future, worrying if you’re doing it right. I’ve been there all too much. What if it didn’t have to be that way?

I created Grownded because I believe we all deserve peace, presence, and the space to grow. The name reflects that: a merging of growth and being grounded — the idea that real change starts from stillness, not speed.

The problem

For a long time, I wore worry like a heavy bag with items I might be lost without. I thought constantly replaying things in my head meant I was doing something productive. But it was like running toward a finish line I could never cross. I was too busy thinking about how I’d run in the past or fail in the future to actually focus on the run itself.

The solution

That’s when I started noticing what helped me come back to the moment, feel inspired, and visualise change. Cooking something slowly, tending to plants, spending quiet time outside, or reflecting with a warm drink. These weren’t just hobbies; they were lifelines. The attention-to-now brought clarity, which brought growth. And often, small things — a good pan, a notebook, a guided practice, a pair of gardening gloves — became the tools that anchored me there.

The last thing I want is to add another thing to your to-do list. Modern life already demands enough of us. But what if, instead of us trying to make more time, we simply chose to swap ten minutes of doom-scrolling for ten minutes for something that aligns us with what we really want from life. That tiny shift- not more effort, just more intention- can bring us back to feeling like we’re really here, really living.

The philosophy

With a background in psychology and years working in mental health, I understand how words like mindfulness or grounding often get overused or misunderstood. Over time I realised, it’s not just buzzy psychobabble. It’s about noticing with curiosity what’s here, right now, during mundane tasks or our daily rituals— what’s inside and outside- which opens up our mental space for real growth.

If gardening is your thing, it’s a bit like clearing weeds; First, you have to notice them and see their impact on your plants. Then, the right tools make clearing easier – rather than just digging them out with your hands. Your previously withering plants get the light and space they need to grow.

The mission

Grownded is where I share those tools and experiences. From simple aids, wellbeing essentials, grounding rituals, or natural remedies that reconnect you to life. Living intentionally now, not before or later. My mission and hope is that you find something here that helps you come back to yourself too.
